A Sunday moment.
The house is quiet as I am the only one up as I write this, it is pouring with rain outside - more like a winters day than the middle of summer, but then this is England so we can't expect too much. I have decided to get back the morning smoothies, so I am enjoying a beetroot, banana and orange one mixed with some alpro yogurt and very nice it is to. Not really sure what to do today, I really want to start distance walking again to regain some kind of fitness level so I might go out in the rain. As always there is plenty of housework to do and since B has moved back.....well! It is lovely to see her so happy at last, the new boyfriend is so good for her, they have known each other years and been good friends but nothing romantic until recently. He is a really nice lad as well, very easy to get on with.
I am wondering what this week holds for me at work, as we will find out what is happening with our department and who is going to be taking us over and what the future will be - or if there is even a future for us, trying to stay positive but the gut feeling is not good if I am honest, which is a shame as I enjoy what I do and still have a lot to learn from the role.
My peace and reflective mood is being shattered as the house is coming to life, so time to make a move.

ReplyDeleteHope things go well with the job. Your morning smoothies sound like a good idea. I really need to lose some weight so perhaps it might be a good idea for me x
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with your job, I went though that sort of thing several times when I was working, I usually ended up doing the same job with a different title!
ReplyDeleteoh yes we were holed up in our tent on that Sunday. The rain was horrendous. Good news about B. Hope work is ok x
