Yesterday Mick, Amanda and I had a walk over to Golden Mill which is about a mile away from us, we use to go down here a lot when we had Sammy but I haven't been there for about 3 years now. It made a nice change to have a stroll along the river instead of a coastal path. There wasn't much happening down there, the fields have been cut and not a lot of life along the river, but then I think if I go back early morning or evening it may be a different story.
Today Mick and I repeated the walk but this time we went onto Creed church (another mile on) which we haven't been to before. It is a lovely Church - much bigger than we expected and surrounded by trees and rhododendrons.
For ages now I have lost my mojo for taking photos - I tend to use my phone or of late I have been taking my compact each time we go out and I am never really happy with the photos. I am hoping that I will find inspiration again very soon as I do miss being inspired to get the kit out and use it.
I have just sat through a couple of Lightroom tutorials which were really good until I come to try them on my computer and discover I don't have the same navigation windows as the video and her pop up windows are different to mine!! Guess I shall carry on bumbling my way around as I have been doing all this time.
Sounds like a pleasant walk Karen. I tend to use my phone camera more and more now ... shame really. Maybe you need to do another photo challenge :) that always kept me inspired x x
ReplyDeleteYes maybe a challenge is what I need - definitely need something, kick up the backside I think lol. xx
DeleteLooks like a lovely place for a walk! I like the shot of the Church hiding I the woods.
