"Look Closely - The beautiful may be small"

Well  a funny old week for me, I have been resting as I have been told and I am going stir crazy!!!!  Saw the  physio tues evening, very positive thankfully.  He lasered my shin tendon, taped me up in some very sexy black tape which has to stay on for six days, gave me some exercises and told me to use a bucket of iced water to put my leg in for one minute then dry then repeat two more times (3 mins in total)  three times a day!!!  Said taped shin - said it was sexy - thank goodness it isn't the summer!!!

Some sick sense of humour if you ask me!!  Still I have done it, does it feel better?, once the blood thaws out and starts flowing again I suppose it does, I'm sure it is working wonders internally, mentally and externally not so sure.  Anyway he says I can do a simple walk at the weekend ie to the shops and back but no hills!!! Hmm I live on a hill and the shop is at the bottom, it needs to be on the flat so I guess walking around the NEC on Sunday (which is on the flat) will have to class as my simple walk :)

Now for Lucky Snapping this week we have a quote to inspire us to take some photos.  The quote being

“ Look closely. The beautiful may be small” ~ Immanuel Kant

we had a frost this morning so I ventured out to see what I could find  and this is what I came up with.

the blueberry bush in the greenhouse at the mo, should have got closer to the blossom but had the wrong lens on, plus not too good at squating right now,

Blueberry bush again

My favourite like the droplets along the top of the flower
Will post some more tomorrow.

  2. Hope that your tendon is good enough at the weekend. Just a small question - do you have to take your bucket of iced water with you?

  6. I had a similar sort of tape down the back of one leg and along the length of my foot! Meant I could not point my foot downwards. It was not good!

    Enjoy if you can!

  8. Hope your leg is better now. I don't like the idea of iced water but if they say so, it must help you to recover. The shots are all wonderful. I sometimes find the closed flowers or buds even more beautiful then the full blooms.
