Round up of monthly photos - project 2

 

Here are the 12 (well 11) images from project 2, they didn't turn out quite the way I had planned but hey ho, hopefully third time lucky. :) 

 

A belated monthly image

On Sunday I took my monthly photo and then in the evening whilst messing around with the camera promptly deleted it so I retook it today, the only difference being today we have been covered in thick fog so it is not a very exciting photo,

it doesn't really look any different to the others, but the trees are starting to bud so hopefully next month is will show more.

First Sky Watch Friday

A long day but weather wise a beautiful one. This was the sky that greeted me as I came out of St Michaels Hospital Friday afternoon.

 Though it was very cold, for more lovely skies from around the world go to ..

MONTHLY PHOTO

Taken a day late but hey who's checking only me!  The sky was brighter than last month and it wasn't wet, in fact it was a nice day on Thurs.  I took this then went for a walk down by the river and took the one below.

Looking very baron, guess the tide being out didn't help.

Amanda had her knee operation on Friday, (hence the hosp comment above) all went well and she is weight baring straight away which is good, she has crutches as a back up if needed but she isn't using them much.  Into college tomorrow for an exam then home again.  She is hoping to be back at college by Wed, which is good, so not too much time missed.

...taken today instead of Sunday just got back in the car and we had the most horrendous hail storm!!!  Couldn't hear my music for it - and that is saying something!!

Monthly view

Despite the pouring rain I did jump out of the car on the way to work to snap and I mean snap one of my monthly photos.  I didn't walk down the path to take the one of the river, else I would have looked like a drowned rat by the time I go to work!!  Not a very exciting shot but then everything is so wet at the mo. :) Though having just looked back at Oct's I think it is nicer.

New Monthly Photo

Last Oct I decided to take one photo a month to record the changes over the year, I enjoyed it so much that I have decided to repeat the project but using a different location and taking the photo on the same day each month.  So last Sat I headed over to my chosen spot, a place called Tresillian which is on the main route into Truro and is lined with trees which each year give off a beautiful display of colour.  Admittedly I haven't decided which of the images below I will use, maybe both, who knows!  (the light patch on the right hand side is rain on my lens, which I didn't notice at the time and  my photoshop skills don't stretch to it's removal ..... yet!!) so it is there and I can live with it.
