Chapel Porth

After much debate as to where to go for a walk on Monday we ended up at Chapel Porth.  We haven't been there for years as it is on the north coast, only takes 45mins to get there!!!!  Anyway we picked up B and Chris on route and headed off.
Apologies for this post being a little photo heavy.

The peak in the distance is known as the Beacon.  I didn't realise the heathers were out so much, sounds daft but we don't get many heathers on the south coast where we are, so it took me by surprise lol

The little dots on the right of the photo are Botallack Mines. Chapel Porth beach down below.

Apparently the black thing in the sand is all that remains of a ship wreck from years and years ago, it is the engine.

As I said it was rather windy up there but I couldn't resist having a photo with my girlies even if our hair is out of control lol

Down on the beach looking up at the engine houses, would love to go back for a sunset if we have any more.
