One Little Word

I saw this over on Eileen's blog I have never done anything like this before so had a read about it on Ali's blog and rather like the idea of having a word to focus on and keep coming back to when I slip off track with my hopes, dreams aspirations throughout the year -  including that NYR list.  Whilst I was reading about it the word 'complete' popped into my head and although I have tried to think of another word I keep coming back to this one and to be honest I think it will be a good one for me with everything I want to achieve this year as I do seem to have a problem with actually completing things that I start.  I am sure different takes on the word 'complete' will develop as the year goes by that I shall embrace as well - but for now I am keeping it simple.  I am not signing up for any classes as I am aware I am already running the risk of planning too much and setting myself up for failure as usual and it is only the second day of the year lol.

I was really chuffed on Thursday, as I weighed myself - yes my weigh in day has already changed to Thursday's and I have somehow managed to loose weight over the festive period, I couldn't believe it, I had to take a photo to prove it to Mick and the girls and they can't believe it either, especially as they have seen what I have eaten!!!! So I feel like I have a head start with the weight loss goal, I was good yesterday as well, only two chocs passed my mouth, 1 was Mick's fault as he gave me a mini Tolberone whilst stood on the station platform in the rain waiting for B's train to pull out!!!  He is no help lol  the other was a chocolate éclair so not really a chocolate!  And I only had ten pringles with my one slice of bread that made a sandwich at lunch instead of the usual half a tube!!  Admittedly my stomach thought my throat had been cut all afternoon but I survived the first day and sure it will get easier.
