Sunday afternoon Mick and I went for a stroll around Charlestown, it was very dull, windy and alittle drizzly. but good to get out and blow the cobwebs away. So thought I would share a few snaps with you all.
This little path runs behind the cottages, I liked the rooves and chimneys at eye level.
I was surprised to see all four ships in as I understood three had been sold last year and only the Phoenix remained.
Standing on the quay looking back
Just like this shot, light was very poor though, will have to return on a better day.
For those that might not be aware but the remake of Poldark was filmed here in Charlestown last year. I use to love the series and read all the books, not sure if I will be watching the new version, have a thing about remakes!!
Ah now I didn't find this at Charlestown.
It was Amanda's birthday on Sunday and for the first time it years I had the chance to do the birthday cake (the girls have done it lately) she wanted a Panda so this is what I managed lol. rather pleased actually. Mick took it up to her yesterday when he picked her up and took her back to Pershore.
So I think Sunday was January's photowalk day as I went down to Par Beach and Pond in the morning with some Camera Club members as well - very uninspiring though but good to get out and meet up.
Liking the rope and bollard too.. lovely x
