Oops no blogging for a week, tut tut, but I do have a good excuse, mainly I have hardly been on the computer all week, only via my phone. Monday and Tuesday morning was work then Tues afternoon I hopped on the train to Bristol to spend a couple of days with Bernadette and do some Christmas shopping and clothes shopping for me - well that was the plan and what do they say about best made plans!!! Well, we shopped but we didn't buy a thing in the clothes line - it was probably the most disheartening shopping trip I have ever had.... everything I tried on made me look like a sack of spuds :( even Bernadette who is my fashion guru admitted defeat!! Still on the positive side I saved a lot of money lol
I came back Thurs afternoon, then on Friday Mick and I headed down to Carbis Bay just outside St Ives for a dinner dance - long dress do, (which I love). We had an amazing room with a sea view and a four poster bed. It seems each year we go we get a better room lol. So Sat morning I drank my morning cuppa whilst watching a couple of seals and a pod of dolphins playing in the sea!!
I got up really early this morning and drove back to St Ives to take photos around the town without any people around, I was there before 8am and just in time for the sun rise, it was beautiful.
My photos don't really do it justice.
The morning sun shining on St Ives
I aim to be in Mevagissey early tomorrow morning for either the sunrise or some misty morning shots - fingers crossed, then meeting up with Yvonne for a hot choccy and catch up.
