Hmm where did July go???

Oh the shame I haven't blogged since the beginning of July and here we are at the end - well near enough the end anyway. Even worse I can't remember what has been going on it has been so busy!! So in an attempt not to bore you all rigid I shall give you a quick whistle stop debrief of the past 3-4 wks.
After our week in France (which seems like a dream now) I went back to work and my first ever redundancy meeting, I shall find out in Sept if I still have a job or not!! If I do still have a job, my hours will have been cut, we won't be working unsociable hours any more and we won't travel so much, both those are good and bad, the good, no more mega early starts or late finishes and less travelling.  The bad being no unsociable hours enhancements and less mileage expenses - hey ho can't have everything. I wasn't too worried until I realised that I am one of the cheapest to get rid of due to only having been there 3yrs, no pension or redundancy pay out to talk of!!! Hmm not so good after all. Still as I say "Que Sera Sera".  Not worth loosing any sleep over it.
It was full on with the Bread Riots rehearsals and the performance.  The whole experience was fantastic, loved the photographic journey as well as watching the performers grow in confidence and seeing the play come together.  A lot of the performers had never done anything like this before.  I went to see the show on the Sunday night just to find out at the end that John Nettles was going to see it on Monday!!!!!!! So wanted to go back again, but instead I settled for an evening out with my hubby  - (deep sigh lol).  Mick and I had a couple of days off together and took ourselves off to explore west Cornwall, which was lovely, walking, swimming, fishing (though no fish) and of course some photography.  Amanda had a week in Spain with her friends, thankfully they are all home safe.  She is now getting very excited about going off to Warwickshire to start her veterinary nursing training in Sept, I seem to be doing a lot of shopping trips with her at the mo!!  Bernadette is back in Bristol and working all the hours she can get at Holister.  Some images from the Bread Riots.
