Lucky Snapping 2013, wk 4

Not had a good week this last week, so way behind with this week's challenge over on Lucky Snapping 2013.  Haven't taken any new photos, but here are some old ones, hopefully they have not all been seen before.  Here is the challenge from Janice

All the colours...

...of the RAINBOW

I've been thinking about the prompts I could give you. I was reading my book the other night and in it there is a character who is very fond of using Mnemonics to remember different facts, it struck me that this would be ideal for a photo prompt. One of the best known of these is Richard of York gave Battle in Vain which is used to help remember the colours of the spectrum as seen in a rainbow. There are seven colours, one for each day!

red
orange
yellow
green
blue
indigo
violet
and here are my images (sorry Kathi, lots of flowers!!)

  4. I've always loved the vibrancy of your flower photos. From this bunch, for me, it's the ocean photo that stands out.
