Scrapping

A few years ago I use to be an avid scrapbooking (that is how I met Yvonne and Kathi ) but over the last couple of years my interest has dropped off mainly due to my interest in photography taking over.  I still have hoards of stash and swear I will use it one day!!  Anyway this week I have been clearing out my craftroom as I literally could not get to the desk for stuff dumped on it.  Underneath it all was two mini books I started for two different occasions and today I am very chuffed to say I have finished one da da, I can't show it yet as it is a gift for someone who looks at my blog every now and then.  I just need to bind it then can hand it over, then I will show photos.  The reason for my sudden scrapping afternoon was prompted by the new challenge blog 'The Happy Scrappers' my friend Lesley has set up, it is one layout  month - even I should be able to do that  and after all it is a challenge how could I resist that!!

So in the meantime thought I would share my lastest cd purchase that I just can't get enough of - it is such a brilliant album.

I have only just taken to James Blunt, it was his track 'Stay the Night' that caught my interest and the rest is history, totally hooked. Just need to find concert tickets now :)

  1. The scrapbooking challenge looks interesting. I've just borrowed all of my late mum's photos to copy so that I have a set myself and I was thinking about scrapbooking as a way of presenting them. This challenge may be what I need to kick-start the project!

  6. Hi, so nice to read that you've revived your interest in scrapping. It's my favourite form of creativity but one that I struggle to find time for too. I'm also a fan of James Blunt - have been for quite some time now. Happy scrapping :) Elizabeth
