Skywatch Friday

I have been thinking of joining Skywatch Friday  for nearly a year now and decided today was the day - shame the sky didn't agree with me - started the day like this and ended like this - dull and miserable :(  Have had to have the headlights on whilst driving all day!!

  2. I think the gray in the photo as some character to the sky. What a soft, brilliant sky.

  4. Hi there - the sky is not always blue - so pictures of the sky don’t need to be either! There's more atmosphere in that shot than many other posted here! Keep posting!

  5. Just Mother Nature knitting fog..or mist! It is a nice shot, gives the scene a softness and serenity.

  6. Thanks for visiting, in answer to your question, yes it did rain, and how. We had a real deluge that the guttering could not cope with and ended up with a mini Niagara falls over the back door!

  7. welcome to skywatch Karen
plain blue skies, fluffy clouds & glowing sunsets can all get a bit boring ;-)
so it's always nice to see something different

  9. To be honest, one of the best pictures I've seen on Skywatch was of plain rain. So keep posting, no matter the weather :)
