Day 5 - as well as loving the minions I also love the Moomins :)
Day 6 - Truro's Christmas Tree is looking a little different this year, not sure I like it!
First time I have managed to see this telephone box in Truro not hidden by taxi's :) the other side of it is an old fashion post box as well.
Had a lovely day, started off with a wet five mile walk then into town to meet up with Bernadette, breakfast then Christmas shopping, now home with sore feet lol but the shopping is well and truly started so very pleased.

I'm not sure I like the tree either ... it looks like they abandoned the decorating half way through and forgot to finish it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a 'spot the post box' post. The Christmas tree in our town isn't a tree at all but a series of big spheres of lights.

Oh I LIKE the Truro tree! And the Moomins really take me back to my childhood! xxx
ReplyDeleteNot heard of the Moomins until fairly recently and they make me think of hippos! The tree - is it just snowy with a star? Does it light up at night? Quite a change - most trees in town centres go for as bright as possible - a simple tree like that is quite a refreshing change :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the 'snow' on the tree will get blown off by the wind!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures

I wonder how often the phone box gets used in the day and age. I see some have been turned into small loan libraries. Diane
ReplyDeleteIt seems like they forgot the baubles this year!!!
