Apologies

Sorry I haven't commented on blogs this week, been hit by the dreaded cold/flu bug that is going around and I had to admit defeat on Thurs and gave in and went sick from work which I hate doing as with my job someone has to cover for me and do my shift.  As it was I slept for 12 hrs Thurs night and awoke on Friday feeling somewhat better.  I was meant to be meeting Yvonne for coffee on the Friday after work, so instead she came round to ensure I sat and did nothing other than knit and chat - it actually turned out to be the best medicine I could have had - thanks Yvonne. xx

Thursday I had a phone call to say the photography course at college has been cancelled so they have put my name down for the April one, not overly impressed but can't do anything about it so not stressing about it.

Yesterday the sun came out and I was desperate to get out for a walk, even if it was a short one, so in the afternoon Mick and I headed off to one of our favourite spots the Nare.  I have often thought of making this a monthly view project and maybe I will this year using the first and the fourth image, as they are my two top views from up there.

It was a lovely walk and reminded me of how lucky I am to live here.  Though I wasn't too impressed when I took a ski-ing lesson in the mud and ended on my backside, luckily I managed to lift the camera up and keep it off the ground!!!  Guess I ought to make a serious effort to buying some new willies  wellies with tread on the sole lol.

Oops thank you to all that pointed out my typo in my original post, have left it in as I am still laughing myself. lol. xx

  1. Haha, Karen, your typo made me laugh. New willies with tread sound fun, but I think I'll pass on them for now, thanks x x x

  3. Sorry to hear you were feeling poorly, although your coffee with Yvonne sounds just the right medicine. Your photos from your walk look fabulous, what a view! I did laugh (sorry) about your slide in the mud and I think there might be a typo in your post as I think you meant wellies not willies lol!!!
