"The Simple Woman's Daybook" I have often read Eileen's post and really enjoy it, so today I decided to join in.

 

 

 FOR TODAY
Outside my window...  the sky is blue with varying white and grey clouds, the wind is blowing and it looks cold, the buzzards are enjoying the winds soaring high in the sky.

I am thinking... about taking some close up photos of our Christmas Tree this afternoon, as well as the various plans I have for 2014 and my eldest brother who is due to have throat surgery on Tues.

I am thankful... my family's health and my loving husband and daughters and really for just being alive.

In the kitchen... I have just washed and dried the pots from this morning, clothes are drying around the rayburn, actually it is looking farily tidy!

I am wearing... demin skirt, burgundy wooly tights with white spots on, a grey cowl neck jumper and my panda slippers,

I am creating... an Aran scarf with some wool that Amanda bought me for Christmas last year.

I am going...  to take some photos or our Christmas tree this afternoon, start reading a book I received today and do some more knitting.

I am wondering... what the next 12 months will bring for my family and I.  Will Bernadette get through the last term at uni and how well will she do and if she doesn't get the result she wants will she beat hereself too much.  How will the news that Amanda has to cut out wheat from her diet affect her as well as starting her work placement and a new weekend job, will she be over doing it?  When will Mick stop loosing weight and when will I start loosing it!!!!  So much.............

I am reading...  Tregony Happenings, a book about our village and how is use to be.

I am hoping... that the pace of life will slow down just so we can actually enjoy our time here.

I am looking forward to...  getting life back into a routine, starting a new photography course in January and going to Iceland in the spring.

I am learning...  to pace myself, believe in myself and to stop and smell the roses.

Around the house... I collect so much stuff.... just in case it comes in handy, I really do need to declutter big time, there is so much stuff that we don't actually use or want, but I just can't bring myself to part with it, I would feel better if I could give it to someone who could make use of it instead of just throwing it away.

I am pondering...  ideas for a Gothic portrait shoot I am planning.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  Work Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues morning, celebrating mother in laws birthday on Sunday at my sister in law's. Off Wed & Thurs, then preparations for Amanda's birthday on Sat.
