Is anyone else having problems posting photos onto blogger? I haven't been able to upload any since Friday :( any suggestions on how to sort it?? Thanks. x
mmmm I did have issue last night as it didn't offer me the browse button but I thought it was another evolution in Blogland.. recently I had no room and then the limit moved form 1 to 5Gb. So I uploaded to Google+ or was it Picasa webalbums, and then chose from there.. hope this helps x
Thanks Kathi and Sandra, how do I find out re room!!! Doesn't sound a silly question at all Sandra, no I haven't tried resizing but I will now - thank you. xx
I had the same problem. All you need to do is, when you get to the part of your post where you want to insert the photo, change to HTML view and import the image as usual and then change back to the 'compose' view and you'll see the photo.
This seems to be quite a big problem, lots of people have mentioned it. One solution offered is to resize your photos to decrease the amount of storage space if you use picasa, and the other seems to be to install Google Chrome, as internet explorer (if you use it) doesn't like "old" google. Personally, I always resize my photos when I first edit them, so each one is no bigger than 1M, and then store them on DVDs rather than external sites, plus Firefox seems to be much less picky than IE. Hope some, or all, of that helps.
My blogger told me that I couldn't load a photo, just refused me. I use Photoshop elements - go to 'image' then 'resize' then '500' pixels, it's worked for me so far.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I don't tend to upload via blogger, I use another site like flickr or photobucket and then copy the html code over to blogger.
hi karen - hopefully you've sorted this now. It happened to me a while ago and i found out that as long as you re-size you can upload unlimited photos. I now re-size to 600 pixels x

ReplyDeleteMaybe you're blocked up with photos, it may seem a silly question but have you resized them to make them smaller?
